Meet Trina Haire of Face Appeal Beauty in Upland

Today we’d like to introduce you to Trina Haire.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Trina. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
My journey started with dance. I’ve danced since I was seven years old and continued at LA county high school for the arts to advance my dance career. After high school, I went on tour as a dancer, and that is when I first picked up a makeup brush. After my career as a dancer, I began doing Make up for weddings and realized how much they need for a skincare routine was for many women including myself.

I went to school and earned my esthetician license and began my skincare journey at massage envy spa as an esthetician in Orange County. After being with the company for three years, I decided I wanted to customize and personalize my facial experiences with my own business.

Currently, I’ve been in business for (years, I’m a mother of three, a certified microblading artist and trainer, and I’m attending school to be a registered cosmetic nurse to expand my business to medical esthetics (Botox, fillers, lasers, etc) Being able to make a woman feel beautiful and healthy brings joy to my life. I love what I do, and I can’t wait to provide endless services to women all over the world.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I definitely jumped headfirst into this business. Lol. When I began my first studio space at a suite, I only made enough to pay my weekly rent. It was a struggle and a sacrifice to my husband and family. I was also beginning my prerequisites for nursing, as well as working another job as a waitress. It was lots of work and no payoff in the beginning. But patience, determination, and the support of my family and friends kept me going.

Face Appeal Beauty – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Face Appeal Beauty caters to EVERYTHING that involves your face. My goal is make every woman have limited effort in feeling beautiful, whether it’s through skincare or eyebrows. I specialize in chemical peels, proper everyday skincare, and of course, brows that slayyyyy! Lol, I customize every single service that I do to make sure every woman is unique in her own special way. I’ve come so far in the eyebrow industry, I recently launched my very own eyebrow sculpting kit this month and I have so much more prepared for 2020.

My service and education on African American skin are what sets me apart from others. I strive to meet every need of my client. I am very much a perfectionist who takes personal cate of every single woman who walks through my studio. When I complete a peel, I am always available to my clients throughout their healing and peeling process in case they need to talk or have questions. My clients are #1.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success to me is making a difference in people’s lives. I feel like we are in a world full of critics and pressure to be perfect. When I can make a woman feel beautiful, or make her daily routine quicker, that makes me happy. Success to me is being able to be everywhere my kids need me and making my own schedule to be with my family. I am definitely still working toward my goals, but I know I am not far from them.
