Today we’d like to introduce you to Tre Wright.
Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
It all began in Dayton, Ohio. At an early age, I was inspired by artists/producers such as T-Pain, Timbaland, The-Dream, Pharrell Williams, Noah ’40’ Shebib, and Boi-1-da to create and express myself through music. After I began producing/writing music from home, I enrolled in the audio production program at Ohio University, wherein those four years, I released 21 projects. Two weeks after graduating, I moved to Los Angeles, CA where I’m currently writing, producing and developing new artists.
Please tell us about your art.
Noted for the development of aviation; my hometown, Dayton, OH, is home to the Wright Brothers, two famous American inventors who are known for building and flying the world’s first successful airplane in 1903. (Hence where the name Tre Wright comes from).
My sound blends and draws influences from R&B, pop, hip-hop, and soul. I strive to create hit records and inspire others, while ultimately paying homage to “Flight City”.
We often hear from artists that being an artist can be lonely. Any advice for those looking to connect with other artists?
Surround yourself with people that genuinely want you to succeed and have your best interest, find your vision and build a team of people to execute this vision.
How or where can people see your work? How can people support your work?
