Meet Trailblazer Helene Françoise Philippe

Today we’d like to introduce you to Helene Françoise Philippe.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Helene. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I like to say I was born with glitter in my womb, I have always been extremely creative and self-expressive. Since I was three and drew E.T., I knew had a strong connection with creating art and worlds. I was fortunate to be raised by artists who nurtured my interests and mentored me through my journey. As I got older, I wanted to do the same for other artists in my community by supporting them in many ways I can. I am currently curating art shows and helping others learn ways to express themselves while improving our environments in positive ways. I am very excited and honored to be shaping the future of the art world as the youth who is entering it.

Has it been a smooth road?
Humans are all more similar than we think. We all have similar doubt about our selves hoping we fit in and are excepted by each other. That was definitely a struggle for me, waves self-doubt. I had to learn to accept myself first by looking at all the cool things I offer to the world around me than applying and not looking back. No one represents ourselves better than ourselves especially when you do not see public figures who you fully can relate to. What definitely helped me in my mission was a crew of strong like-minded girls who helped each other up when we would fall. Not only does it make the ride more fun but a lot smoother knowing you are surrounded by love and support.

We’d love to hear more about Honeymoon Supply.
I have always wanted a career that let me be free and do whatever I wanted, running my own business was definitely the way for me to go. I love being Being active in my community for those who need support. I enjoy creating different types of art such as clothing design, painting, film making, etc. running my organization, fashion brand, event planning business really allows me to do that and more. My business has sub business that all fund, support and inspires each other each other. My work allows me to explore the world more helping me expand as a person with every interaction in a different place. It feeds my intense curiosity, so I am never bored and always on my toes while I watch a fun world mold around me.

We’re interested to hear your thoughts on female leadership – in particular, what do you feel are the biggest barriers or obstacles?
The party does not start until you walk in, have fun! Invest yourself as much as you can into your interests as a form of self-love. Take all those ideas he has had in the back of your brain and project them out for the world to see, hear, experience and enjoy the way you do.
