Meet Timm Elliott

Today we’d like to introduce you to Timm Elliott.

Timm, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Well, it all started in middle school where I began to make music and audio engineer. Then, through the years, I’ve mixed and mastered my own projects. along with other amazing local/out of state artist. Also, for the past two years, I’ve been photography, which I was inspired to do by a great photographer and friend Nick. And as of more recently, I’ve gotten into videography. How I got to where I am today, is constantly staying focused and working moment on my craft.

Has it been a smooth road?
I feel like nothings easy but it depends on how you look at it, challenges to me are always fun experiences, it’s just another chance to find out or learn something new. So, to answer the question, it hasn’t been smooth or rough, it’s neutral, I try to look at the bright side of every situation.

What do you do, what do you specialize in, what are you known for, etc. What are you most proud of? What sets you apart from others?
I am a photographer and I specialize mostly in taking portraits. I’m known for having bright and colorful work, and always bringing my clients visions to life. What I’m most proud of is the growth of clientele over such a short period of time. What sets me apart is a hard question but I have to say my work ethic. And not to get too deep about it but I shoot almost everyday night or shine. For the simple fact of loving what I do and you can never have too much practice.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
If we are talking about the Av then, yes. I feel like it the Av forces you to have a photographers imagination. I say that as a person that has shot in and around LA, I feel like the Av is a great starting point for every aspect of photography in some sense. Just understanding that everything comes with time, so there’s no need to rush if you’re simply having fun learning.
