Meet Tatiana Robbins of New Envy in Santa Fe Springs

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tatiana Robbins.

So, before we jump into specific questions, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
As a teenager, I was absolutely obsessed with fashion. Mainly heels and purses, I loved to accessorize. My first job was at a shoe store called “Bakers” and they had the most gorgeous heels. After a while of working there, I realized that I wanted to be the owner and be the creator of my own brand.

I didn’t take the time to figure out how to because it just seemed so far fetched. I later decided to get into massage therapy. I owned my own mobile massage business for a while and eventually got my own studio in January of last year. I also made and sold my own body care products. After a few months in, I found out that I was pregnant with TWINS! I worked until my body could no longer handle the physical work. I had to close down my business and become a full time stay at home mom with my three years old toddler. I always knew that massage therapy was not my passion and neither were body care products. My passion was fashion! Shoes! Purses! So I decided to finally do some research. I learned a lot of what it takes to get into a business like this and knew it wasn’t going to be a walk in the park. I started procrastinating and coming up with excuses on how tired and busy I was and how my toddler was driving me crazy! LOL. I gave birth to our twins in October 2019 and things became even more hectic.

A month later, I was offered a position as an on-site housing manager which was PERFECT for my situation because now I can work from home, take care of the kids, and fulfill my dream! At this point, I decided to change my mindset and JUST DO IT. I had to tell myself “No, you’re not too tired, and Yes, you do have time”. I put in the work and the time and was able to launch my business on June 1st, 2020.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It hasn’t been a smooth road especially with how hectic my personal life is right now. Marketing is definitely a challenge for me. Sometimes it gets frustrating when I spend so much time and money promoting and don’t see any results as far as sales goes. Since I just launched, I know there’s many more challenges that I will face and I am ready to take them on!

New Envy – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
New Envy specializes in Shoes and Purses. As people get familiar with the brand, we will implement other things. As a new company, we are most proud of LAUNCHING. We cater to Bosses and Entrepreneurs like myself! The inventory is High end and Classy but still affordable and cute!

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I define success as reaching your goals. Whatever goal you have that you set and actually reach is success. For New Envy the goal is to reach over $5,000 in sales a day within the next two years.
