Meet Talin Amirian

Today we’d like to introduce you to Talin Amirian.

Talin, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I entered the real estate industry with a diverse cultural background that intertwines my love for modern design and traditional elegance. Born in Hollywood, CA while living in the United Kingdom during my early childhood, I was emerged into the Real Estate industry at a very young age following the footsteps of my father’s property management company based in London.

Ever since I was a little child, I remember being onsite developments and growing a great appreciation for the land and how with some imagination and a great team a beautiful masterpiece can we created. I fell in love with the process of assisting older homes to be rebuilt to showcase their full potential while still maintaining their character & charm.

At the age of 22, I was able to assist in directing a 2,900 sq ft. home remodeled project in Glendale, CA and turned a 1939 Tudor ranch style home into a modern entertainers delight. Graduating with honors in Business Management & a minor in Economics, I combine my strategic skills and love for architectural design to efficiently assist all of my client’s needs.

Has it been a smooth road?
I would say with any journey you start 99% of the time there are some bumps that become things you learn from and make you grow. Throughout my journey, I have learned that no one strategy will work for every situation and it is very important to surround yourself with driven and motivated individuals to be able to get the job done in the most efficient and effective way.

However I never do believe the journey of growth ever ends, especially in real estate as with every single transaction you learn something new, I guess this is one of many aspects that makes is an exciting and adventurous career path.

I’m a local realtor living in Glendale, CA and I specialize in the surrounding areas with a focus in Pasadena, Atwater Village, Burbank & La Canada Flintridge.

I am most proud of the work ethic and drive that my father has passed down to me as I have the first-hand experience that success is earned with hard work and dedication. My father always went into projects with a positive outlook and never let a roadblock interfere with the bigger picture of his goal which is truly admirable.

I believe what separates me from others would truly be my passion and how that passion drives me in my career. I have never been afraid of failure and have always taken my obstacles as learning experiences which I grow from. I’m also very tech-savvy and believe I do a good job representing millennials and how we use technology to strategically market ourselves.

I am pretty creative with my marketing too, and I always try to get people involved and be one with the community I am part of. For example, this month, me and my colleague are hosting a social gathering for our local neighborhood to come together while we are collecting canned food and clothes for the local salvation army at the event, just a great way to get people together and get involved, locals helping locals!

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
The market is constantly shifting and as realtors, we know what goes up must come down at some point so I can’t speak too ahead into the future but I will say entering into 2019 interest rates are projected to rise so from now till the end of the year is a great time to buy a home!
