Today we’d like to introduce you to Tal Orion.
Tal, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
A few years ago, after working as a journalist and a public relation specialist for almost two decades, I realized that it was a time for a career change. Being so passionate for design I have decided to try and design my close friends’ wedding voluntarily.
Vividly, the soon to be married couple were stressed out and exhausted and were not really enjoying the planning process. This went on up to the Wedding day itself. Later I had found that people are either at their best or at their worst at a wedding, depending on their stress levels and support around them.
I became passionate about my role as I discovered more and more ways to eliminate the “stress factor” around wedding and event planning. I learned how to allow my clients to focus on their love for one another more than all and to simply leave all the rest in my hands.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
To say that everything goes smoothly and flawlessly would be a bit unrealistic. After all, event planning is about ‘de-stressing” and comforting the client, first and foremost. No doubt that being in my mid 40’s affected my decision-making capabilities positively, I proved to be calm, focused and collected.
I have learned that no planning, as detailed as it may have been, saved me from tackling unforeseen incidents – a bride’s dress getting torn apart or unexpected rain in the middle of July!
Having a smart ” Plan B” and securing quickly my “fallback position” is what a successful, event planner is all about!
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Tal Orion Event Management story. Tell us more about the business.
I specialize in event management and design, Doing by best to offer creative themes, breath-taking design concepts that please all five senses. Combining dedicated production services, exclusive vendors and meticulous attention to details is what drives us to excel.
Design, as I view it, includes everything from ambiance to food, to guest experience and last, but not least – the decor.
We are at the service of our clients to orchestrate and connect the dots between their wishes, and the vendors that are about to make their dreams into reality.
We do our utmost to maintain a boutique ”out of the box” approach. Sensibility and a firm belief that even the smallest client deserves a upreme level of service, is our claim to fame.
As the clients’ planning partner, we help to create and bring to life their shining moment. With such a significant investment of time and money spent on our clients’ event, we are committed to not only make sure that you have the correct pieces to your puzzle, but that they are all put together efficiently.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I believe in working hard, in listening and paying attention to my clients and no less to my employees and vendors. Following and guarding my values – honesty, devotion, dedication and sensitivity – is what is driving my “luck”. “Good” or “bad” luck are simply defined by how well we protect and respect our values.
