We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Some of the challenges I have faced along the way have been getting in front of the exact right people. It comes down to the self-realization that no one is going to give you anything in this life. You have to create your momentum, you are your best PR.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Phoenix 4 Productions  – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Phoenix 4 Productions started originally through the church, my parent’s church Divinity Church International in Duluth, GA. My mother told me to write a script for the church (The Gospel of Jesus). I had my first play at the Red Clay Theater and we sold out both shows. Phoenix 4 Productions was birthed August, 8th, 2009. This marks our 10th year.

I’m most proud of the family that has come from the company, from all the people involved in Atlanta and Los Angeles and the hard work they have put in. Our work collectively has over 1,000,000 views and most recently had the pleasure to work with Make A Wish Foundation. Putting a smile on a child’s face… being part making those kids dreams come true is something I will always be part of.

The team at Phoenix 4 is between 16 – 35. It’s not even about the company it’s about what our mission is, what our why is. Watching one of our films will, you will leave the cinema with a purpose, a call to action. Our projected slate will hit on mental illness, depression, anxiety, human trafficking, sexuality, religion and so much more. We are hitting these hard topics from an entertainment perspective, but also from a psychological perspective.

We must continue on not by creating better talent, but by creating better people. And to tell the human story and I think that’s what we are accomplishing.

I’m a creative artist behind and in front of the camera. There’s no boundaries to creativity as a director, writer, singer… I create through those mediums to affect lives. That is the vision I set forth with the team at Phoenix 4.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
I’m looking forward to being one of the most influential, entertainment mogul leaders in the 2020’s. I’m looking forward to changing the lives of young black and brown kids across the globe. I’m looking forward to helping the next singer, actor, writer, director, producer, any form of art, it doesn’t matter if you’re not directly in my field of work… it doesn’t matter. I’m looking to affecting their lives on a positive note, so they can contribute and help their families.

Family is not just through blood, it is also the people you love. Most of the time our family are not only those given to us but the ones we choose.  Any movement I make will affect millions of people, I understand my influence, I understand the task that God has given me, and I understand my purpose. I believe that if everyone understood their purpose in life, collectively we would come from a place of sincerity and a place born from the heart. I’m just looking to help and all initiatives.  I’m looking forward to just being better.
