Meet Sylvia Re

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sylvia Re.

Hi Sylvia, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My sister and I just wanted more for ourselves. We also wanted something we could call ours and pass on for generations. We realized how much love for clothes and accessories and fashion just in general. We always get compliments on our style so why not sell stuff that we like. We already also love helping people (we are both in the medical field) and tried to find different ways to help people feel great about themselves.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Some struggles among the way was finding/storing inventory and figuring out a name and trying to make sure that we provide for all different shapes and sizes and not only getting stuff that we like but also what we think others would like.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Well, currently I work full time in Beverly Hills as a Radiologist Technologist. I graduated from Pennstate Schuylkill in 2018 and moved to LA. That is definitely what I’m most of, taking that big leap of faith and moving across the country with my sister and bro in law. On my free time, I also pursue my modeling career. I just loving making new connections and meeting with different photographers and learning new poses to help inspire others. I do a lot of reading and painting as well mostly with acrylic on canvases but I really like pottery and throwing on the wheel and just trying to be as creative as I can in all aspects of my life.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
I see The Mixy Vixen having a big storefront in LA where we provide clothing for all different body shapes and sizes, I see it being so chic in side with white walls and marble tops with plants and flowers all over the place. I see Mixy vixen being embroidered on our clothes and just having so many different styles.
