Meet Sunnie Allen

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sunnie Allen. Them and their team share their story with us below:

She found the light at three years old, the age she started singing. The first song she knew was Frank Sinatra’s “New York”. She has a love for classic music from the 40’s to the 90’s. At the age of six, her older brother, “Allen Wolf”, began learning and teaching his younger sister to engineer herself and the basics of recording. He made sure to give her enough creative room to learn on her own to what best fit her sound or the one she was soon to find. She credits her fearlessness to her mother who didn’t let her back out of shows when she was younger. In doing so, she became the winner of Willingboro Idol in New Jersey from 2007-2010. Sunnie, 20 years later, has grown into a beautiful woman and eclectic artist who trusts her instincts and feelings when it comes to life and music.

Sunnie got her name from a guitar that was named after her, originally “Sunny”. Although she doesn’t play many instruments, she has worked towards being able to alter her voice in ways where she can become any instrument that she needs through harmony.

As a child, Sunnie spent long nights practicing scales and vocal exercises with her father, who was dedicated in creating the possibility of success through practice at such a young age.

Sunnie’s music creates vibes that take you on a beautiful journey with classic feels. The future is bright for this shining star.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Everything along my journey and life is a lesson to make me the best version of myself I can be. There are always obstacles to overcome. It’s really about how you handle them.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Aside from a life full of songwriting and performing, I am an all-around creative. I was a Fashion Design & Merchandising major for six years. I’m a graphic designer, editor, photographer/videographer, recording engineer, model. Everything I do is related to my career in some way shape or form. I try to use what I like to call “The Power Of No Influence” where I completely open up creatively and create purely off of my own ideas. Of course, we are all influenced by the things we like, I just try to keep a good balance.

How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
As long as there is a solid idea with a plan in mind that makes sense, I’m open to work and learn for almost anyone. For features or beats, simply send an email to with a detailed message for the idea/request.
