Meet Stephanie Massman of Sendout Cards in Westlake Village

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Massman.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Stephanie. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
My background is in the entertainment industry. I stated off working at a casting agency, then as a talent agent for a while. After that, I was the manager of Hollywood Way Studios. My role there was to interview aspiring actors and guide them in getting started in the right acting workshops as well as go over their headshots and help them pick out the best ones. I took a break for a while while raising my young children and realized I missed the business, so my ex husband and I opened another similar type acting school which eventually lead us into evolving into a full blown talent management company. We joined the Talent Managers Association and had some great actors we were working with. After divorcing, I worked with another partner for a while, then decided to merge my company with Kepler Entertainment in Agoura Hills.

Fast forward to 2016… after so many years in the business, I realized this was not for me anymore. I wanted to do something that gave my life more meaning and wanted to surround myself with a different kind of energy. I always felt alive and happy when I knew I was making a positive difference to people. I LOVE knowing that something I did, someone I connected them with or introduced them to, impacted their life in a positive way, so I knew that when I was introduced to SOC, this was the business for me… but I fell into it by accident…

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The thing about my business is I knew from the beginning that it would take time, consistency and hard work to grow and I was prepared for that. I am absolutely convinced that there is no better marketing platform on this planet when it comes to “relationship” attracting, building and maintaining in the business world. Today, more than ever, we need to go that extra mile to show our clients how much we appreciate them and stand out from our competition with a tangible touch. For me, personally, if I show someone this tool and they don’t “get it” or see how it can be the vehicle to keep their customers staying loyal, want to refer them more often, or truly double, triple or quadruple their bottom line, I move on. The other amazing thing about this business is the people I get to work with. When I do feel stuck or my business is not moving as fast as I want, I have a great support system to help keep me motivated. That’s the other huge perk. When you are in my business, you get to work with the most amazing, fun, funny, brilliant people ever!

Please tell us about Sendout Cards.
Although the product I represent is Sendout Cards, I do much more than that. As a Relationship Marketing Consultant, I help my clients not only get set up properly on the system, I help them brand the cards, set up their campaigns, give them unique and creative idea’s that will help them stand out and be different than their competition and always available to them day or night. I also love learning as much as I can about each and every one of my clients because as a networker and connector, if I come across anyone that may be looking for what my client offers, I can refer them knowing I am giving a referral of someone I know, like and trust. I have also started a few local meetups so I can give my clients even more opportunity to mix, mingle and meet other business owners and entrepreneurs who may be good power partners for each other.
