Meet Solange Nicole of Millennial Beauté in Downtown LA

Today we’d like to introduce you to Solange Nicole.

Solange, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I am a Latina influencer that always worked in the beauty industry. I tried a lot of different products but I always had the feeling that there was something missing. Skincare always felt like a chore, and none of my go-to products were fun, innovative, or truly clean. That’s why I started Millennial Beauté.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I think every entrepreneurial journey has its ups and downs. I have a lot of passion for what I do and I learned that having a lot of patience is the key, specially when it comes to developing natural products. I realized that labs often want to take shortcuts when it comes to formulations so I do a lot of research on every single chemical used before approving it. I also work with a third party chemist team to triple check. We take clean beauty extra serious at Millennial Beauté.

Please tell us about Millennial Beauté.
I am the founder and CEO of Millennial Beauté, a skincare brand that focuses on healing your skin from the inside out. I am proud of creating products that make your skincare routine fun and also offer pretty impressive results on any skin type. A lot of brands that are focused on the millennial crowd are actually just marketing and offed little research and commitment to what goes inside of the formulas. I take pride in participating in every single step of my products.

Also, if you see fit I’d like to include a question on charity. We work  really hard to rescue dogs from slaughterhouses in China. Unfortunately certain parts of the world still eat dog meat, so we run flash sales when @bunnysbuddies needs funding, and I actually adopted a slaughterhouse rescue myself. It wasn’t enough for us to just be vegan & cruelty-free. That’s something that should be standard, and we wanted to go above and beyond to help save animals.
