I was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro. I graduated in Architecture in Brazil with a minor in Interior Design. After working on several projects in Rio de Janeiro, including for celebrities’ homes. My studies and career expanded to the US in 2008 which helped me compose a unique and global design style. I had the opportunity to work for different companies and Was part of amazing projects. As a foreign it was hard because I had to start it all over again, But when you have passion, work ethic and determination we can do anything.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
As a woman and a mother, I say it is hard. Being a foreign with a basic English, it was harder. I wanted to give up. I felt invisible so many times in the offices I worked for. And after years, I decided to change. One day I Woke up and I said to myself: I don’t want to work for anybody anymore, and I only had one option: to believe in my power to change the energy around me and my own destiny. And I meant that.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
