Meet Simone LeCesne

Today we’d like to introduce you to Simone.

Los Angeles based Singer/Songwriter, Simone, found her passion for music at an early age. Eager to share her gift, she took to social media as an outlet to reach a wider audience, building a solid fan base over the years. Looking to forward her career as an artist, she began incorporating piano with her love for words, and since then, discovered a new path to music success. With her natural songwriting and vocal abilities, Simone has been recognized as a diamond in the ruff ready to pave her way into the music industry.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road to any success is never smooth, especially when you are chasing a dream that has no roadmap to its destination. My biggest struggle has always been finding a team of people who understands my vision. I have hit many roadblocks working with people who have made me doubt myself and that’s never the type of energy you want to be around. With struggle comes strength, as we all know, and trial and error has always led me to something greater.

Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
This year has really been the turning point for me in my career. I found someone willing to invest in me, and I was able to really hone my craft and write music that I am proud of. I have realized that I am not interested in boxing myself in with one genre of music. I am a jack of all trades when it comes to what I want to sing and write next. I am also obsessed with my lyrics telling a story, which is not always the case with new music. I am proud of all my growth, and I am looking forward to sharing all that I have created so far.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
August 12th, 2019, I released my First Single Debut, Take Me There. I was extremely nervous to put it out. Allowing the world to see you completely vulnerable is pretty scary, but this is the career I chose so taking that first step was necessary to move forward.

I was very surprised with the outcome of my first release and the amount of love and support I received. It made me feel really good to know that I do have people appreciating my music. It’s safe to say that this is just the beginning for me. There will be more moments to be proud of, but my first single has definitely been the highlight of this year.
