Today we’d like to introduce you to Silvia Pangaro.
Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
I started my photography journey attending fine art photography classes in 2009. I quickly discover my passion to photograph people and I purchased my first pack of flashlights. I started to photograph people, learning about skin retouching, posing and light technics. I graduated as a makeup artist from Cosmix School of Makeup Artistry in Florida. In 2016, I moved from Florida to California to work full time as a photographer. I love what I do and I enjoy every single moment of my job.
Please tell us about your art.
I’m a photographer specialized in capturing the essence of the person/people I’m photographing and the message of the product as to be sold.
I offer photo sessions for headshots (actors, artist business corporate), general portraits (family, engagements, pets, etc.), events, red carpets, lifestyle photos, e-commerce, and architectural photography. All the photo sessions are tailored to each particular client.
Do you have any advice for other artists? Any lessons you wished you learned earlier?
Photography is a very challenging career. There is a lot of competition and professional equipment is very expensive. It takes a lot of time to build clients and there are no weekends most of the time… But when you love your job, it doesn’t feel like you’re working.
How or where can people see your work? How can people support your work?
