Meet Silva Mirzoian of Power of Femininity

Today we’d like to introduce you to Silva Mirzoian.

Silva, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Where I am in life right now came through much travel and personal experiences. At times, personal necessities gave me the inspiration to start a design & construction company… then turning my property development background ushered in my lifestyle development company. It was the natural business for me to flow into. For me transforming someone’s life is very similar to remodeling a fixer-upper home. Start with a strong foundation, then make sure that you utilize the attributes that the property already offers. In a person’s life, you focus on the person’s inner gifts, talents and abilities and build on that.

I wrote my best selling book “Jump-start Your LIfe” where I share my personal experience of developing my own life after having gone through an abusive marriage and bad divorce where I left with zero money. Once I woke up from my own sleep-walking mode I realized that I deserved better than what I was living through. It is that personal growth that I now bring to my new blog/show. The show is about celebrating women who live & love the life that they live. Together we learn and grow and have fun.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Simply living comes with many so-called obstacles… they are important situations in life as they push us towards being our higher self. My belief is that we are all born perfect with all the tools, gifts, talents and abilities to live our perfect life… and every day, through overcoming obstacles, we continue to be perfect for now.

Being an Armenian girl who was born in Baghdad, and at a young age, my parents moved my brother and I to a foreign country where the social lifestyle/culture was totally different from what I was used to. For a young girl, it was a difficult personal adjustment It constantly made me question my beliefs as they were different from my parents and the rest of my family. Hence I was known as the “Black sheep of the family”. Being different is to be embraced and celebrated and that is how I look at life and obstacles.
