Meet Shelby Sanchez and Ana Belén Salatino of Dream Inspired Design

Today we’d like to introduce you to Shelby Sanchez and Ana Belén Salatino.

Shelby and Ana, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Dream Inspired Design is a branding + marketing team supporting forward thinking, heart-centered, change-making businesses + entrepreneurs in realizing their highest visions for the benefit of all. Dream Inspired Design was born in 2013 when we, Ana Belén Salatino and Shelby Sanchez, came together with a shared desire to contribute to global improvement through supporting socially-inspired businesses and entrepreneurs to be more successful. At the time when we started there were not many graphic designers with a vibrant, lively, and holistic aesthetic and approach in the LA area – We saw this need and felt called to combine our skills to serve the conscious businesses that were coming into being all around us.

Ana is a Designer + Doer. My work is to ground your vision by bringing it into its fullest and most magnetic physical form. I am a visual translator and can interpret your company’s personality into a cohesive, vibrant, and enlivened visual identity (typography, logo/mark, colors, etc) to be used as a language through which your brand speaks to be implemented across your businesses online and offline presence to communicate your unique message.

Shelby’s specialty is Creative Marketing + Strategy and Photography. I help identify solutions and tools to assist you and your business to ground and actualize your highest and most exciting visions. I effectively make sure your website and social media communicates with crystal clarity who you are and what you are offering to the world….my gift is making sure everything is aligned so you are magnetic to your clients and customers.

Our complimentary gifts have successfully supported over 100 inspired businesses around the world in launching new branding, websites, and more.

Has it been a smooth road?
Yes, we would say overall, it’s been a smooth road. In general, when challenges come up we see them as invitations and opportunities for growth. By making adjustments as new ideas or issues arise, we’re given the chance to find a way to feel even more aligned with each other and our business which re-inspires our work and our commitment to our mission.

When we began in 2013 we were working with mostly local clients, so all of our meetings were in person and we had a special connection to each project because we would see our work and clients all around town (Long Beach is cool like that).

By mid-2015, over half of our clients were from other parts of the US or international, and we adjusted our process to be just as successful for them as with our local projects. Now, Ana lives in Long Beach and Shelby is in New Mexico so ALL of our work is done virtually and we only rarely get the special opportunity to meet clients in person. For some, working virtually on things that are so meaningful seems odd, but we feel that we can create and nurture a deep connection with our clients and projects no matter where we are – We’re extremely fortunate to have been able to navigate this transition in our business so effortlessly and love the freedom it provides us in working with the most aligned clients in the world (literally)!

We’d love to hear more about your business.
Dream Inspire Design specializes in transformative branding, website, and marketing journeys.

One of our great strengths is being able to enter the world of our clients and deeply resonate with the values that they stand for, creating a visual language that brings all this forth so their message can be more powerfully represented and felt in the world. We hold them from beginning to end in a very structured discovery, development, and design process so, no matter how much or little design/website experience they have, they can rest assured knowing they are being taken care of and the work they are wanting is getting done.

We are most proud that we have an inspiring and thorough discovery and brand development process so that when it comes time to design their new brand and website, we nail it.

What sets us apart from others is that we view branding + websites as a living organism and we make sure that the visual expression matches the energy and vision our clients hold, providing a strong foundation on which they can continue to build their dream!

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I’m not sure we would say we believe in luck but instead would take ownership that we create our reality. We feel fortunate to have the chance to live these lives and create a business that nourishes us and resonates so deeply in the hearts of our clients and their work.
