Meet Shanyka Jackson of HauteGurl Vibez in Los Angeles – Inglewood

Today we’d like to introduce you to Shanyka Jackson.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Shanyka. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I’ve always had a love for fashion. As a young girl, you couldn’t tell me I wouldn’t be a fashion model someday, despite my height (lol). As life would have it, my career never took that route. Instead, I climbed the corporate ladder in the finance industry. My roles involved meeting with executive clients, traveling and such… so of course, I had to keep my wardrobe and accessories up to par. I started buying Paparazzi accessories from consultant friends who were selling it. So much so that I became curious as to how I could do the same and make some extra money on the side, all while supporting my own style habits! I registered to become an independent consultant and quickly realized that I did REALLY WELL at marketing my small business and decided to brand myself. Then the birth of HauteGurl Vibez. As a “high vibing” soul, I pride myself on what I have created. I love depositing light & love into others and discovered that being able to provide affordable accessories to folks gave them a new sense of worth and contentment in their own beauty. That is what this has become! A platform for women to work, play and slay at a price that will not break their banks.

Has it been a smooth road?
Smooth for the most part, but challenging when trying to build and maintain the integrity of your brand. I feel you should constantly reinvent yourself and stay fresh and in front of your audience. Managing social media has been a beast!

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the HauteGurl Vibez story. Tell us more about the business.
I provide couture-like, fashionable accessories at a price ANYBODY can afford and look FIERCE in! My personality, I believe, is what sets me apart. I engage with my clients like family. I give them a platform to show off their style by keeping them in the loop and allowing them to post on my social media platforms. I have built many solid relationships and offered the opportunity for others to do the same.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
Trending up for sure. My plan is to grow my personal team to a point where our businesses are operating as well oiled machines.
