Meet Sebastian Sidi of Sebaz Video Productions

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sebastian Sidi.

Sebastian, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I have been a pianist and performing artist now for over 20 years and have always been in front of the camera. Although I continue to enjoy my career as an artist, I’ve always been intrigued by the work behind the camera. About 4 years ago, I began filming videos for small musical projects and since I have filmed hundreds of videos. From Weddings, to Promotional Business Videos, Music Promos, Green Screen Commercials, Corporate Meetings, Drone Real Estate Videos just to name a few. What I love most about creating videos is the editing portion. I love combining the right music with right footage. Choosing music that goes best with the style of video you are creating makes all the difference in the world when editing. I just love it!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Actually, so far it has been a very smooth ride. About a year ago I moved to the Temecula area and since have joined a couple of chambers. I have been attending many network meetings and meeting lots of new clients. Business has been booming for me.

Only struggles I’ve come across and I think most people do when they first start, is the financial side of starting a business. Which of course is investing in lots of equipment.

But, today, I have all the equipment I need and looking forward to the none-stop upgrading. =)

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Sebaz Video Productions story. Tell us more about the business.
I specialize in pretty much anything except “Film”. Meaning, I do not do short films or cinematic work.

Most of my work is commercial, promotional and events. I mostly enjoy creating videos for small businesses to help them promote their products and services. I love marketing and helping people. What sets me apart from the rest in my opinion, is that I’m not a one sided service. Meaning, I do not only create a video/product to satisfy my client, but I also want to make sure that I satisfy the people that are going to watch the video. At the end of the day, the video is really not for the client, but for their viewers.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I do not believe in “LUCK” Everything I’ve accomplished in life in both my artist and video career have been from simple vision and hard work. If you keep moving, you will get things done. Very simple.
