Meet Sava Ramirez

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sava Ramirez.

Sava, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
How I started is a funny story. I was pregnant with my second child and I had a thing for cute fashionable diaper bags. I would watch on YouTube lots of videos on diaper bags. After my daughter was born I had postpartum depresión due to the complications I had during my labor. I decided to start my own Youtube channel and I started to film with my iPhone 5 “What’s In my diaper bag videos”. Then after a while, my daughter grew I thought to myself What will I do now. After some time on I found my love for art again I started painting and drawing.

Then I found makeup and I saw it a way of art and that’s how I got into makeup in creating looks and videos. To me creating a look is like art the way you can combine colors, blending them together and changing and bringing out features of your face. I love all that. Then I had the opportunity to work with a brand named My Makeup Brush Set which I was a live stream ambassador where I would go live on their Facebook and Instagram page.

I would create makeup looks even Halloween looks. This opportunity helped me break out of my shell and see the potential I actually had. It also showed me how to be interactive and engage with my viewers and followers. It has taught me that even if the process is slow there’s potential for me I know I have heart and dedication for what I do. And I’m very thankful for my family and my followers.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not always has it been a smooth road there’s been a hard time like when I started I really had a hard time showing my true self. I was afraid people were going to be judgmental of what I was doing. I would wonder if people were going to like it. And there was the time I would want to quit because I would get negative feedback. But i had to over come that.

I had to learn there was going to be those types of people and I would have to just brush it off. I had to believe in myself and never lose the love for it. There was time I would stop believing in myself when there was a company that would close the door on me. I had to learn that instead of bringing myself down I had to work ten times harder.these are the types of obstacles I have gone through.

Please tell us more about your work.
I’m a Beauty Influencer. I love what I do I get to work and receive amazing products to try and create content with. I basically at the moment do everything. I’m my own videographer, editor, and sometimes photographer and let’s not forget the artist/ model. I’m proud of everything I have learned on my own how far I have come. I know there’s room for more growth.

Even though at the moment I’m not a well know beauty influencer I’m on going on the right track.what sets me aside from others well other than my spunky personality I’m very honest in my opinion or what I think about a product. But I like to be very professional on how I will deliver and opinion or a bad review. I never want to make a brand feel bad or have a bad relationship with a brand. I believe that all products work different we all have different skin and complexions.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite memory as a child would be when I considered my self a hairdresser and of course, I cut all my cousin’s hair. Let’s just say my uncle was MAD!! I would pretend to be so many characters. I was so creative and very imaginative.
