Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Ritter.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Sarah. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I was born in Cleveland, grew up in Kentucky, and went to college in Tennessee. Got a degree I’ll never touch and moved to Los Angeles two weeks after graduating. I’m mostly an actor but I’ve got a little side hustle creative direction going on as well. I do freelance video work with my Handycam and take film photos of my friends or colored buildings or a tree, whatever’s beautiful, but acting will always be my one true love. Portraying universal truths is an honor and a challenge, it keeps me coming back for more every time hungrier than the last. It’s the reason that I make sacrifices to be here and do what I do.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I honestly can’t complain about my journey to this point. I haven’t always gotten my way, but I’ve lived a beautiful life. I consider myself lucky to be here every day and try to remind myself that as I put in the work, win or lose I’m growing.
Tell us more about your work.
I’m an actor always, a model sometimes, a stylist, and a videographer/photographer/photoshop thottie. I just like being creative in different ways and if I can make money at it then yeah.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
Honestly, I wouldn’t call it luck, I call it God or maybe they’re one in the same, who knows, but whatever it is, I don’t deserve it so I’m just counting my blessings and paying it forward.
