Today we’d like to introduce you to Stefanja Orlowska.
Stefanja, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Born in Australia to Polish immigrants and growing up watching Action Blockbusters, I always dreamt of moving to America and doing the same (kicking ass on the big screen), which lead me to Los Angeles in 2010 to pursue an Acting career.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Sanja Entertainment – what should we know?
Almost a decade later and I’m branching out with my brand, I have a film production company Sanja Entertainment. Already gaining success in the Film Festival circuit with my first short film The Last Tango in which I starred in, wrote and produced.
I’m ready to take on my next venture and I’m currently developing my first feature-length film.
Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
This summer will see the release of my new book Can I Borrow Your Face? A Renaissance of Poetry, Art and Fashion, with Patrick Coates! Without our collaboration it would not have been possible to have content for my weekly YouTube channel of Spoken Word Poetry.
I am truly thankful for his dedication and hard work. Allowing me to grace the cover of this beautiful coffee table book is so huge for me, I can’t wait for everyone to see and have a personal copy! I’ve included a preview of the book’s cover and one of its poems “Red Lipstick” below is featured in Can I Borrow Your Face? A Renaissance of Poetry, Art, and Fashion.
Keep an eye out for the digital, printed and the limited signed editions all available on amazon.com this summer!
