Meet Reginald Joseph of Arejeigh in Glendale

Today we’d like to introduce you to Reginald Joseph.

Reginald, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I got started making beats while I was in middle school. By high school, I started selling my production to local artists as well as recording them too. I eventually went to school for audio engineering as well as learned how to dj. After connecting with some artists in LA, I eventually decided to move to California.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I’ve definitely faced my fair share of bumps in the road. A challenging part of this whole journey has been developing patience and discipline. I realized I had to give things time to grow so just learning to trust the process has help me overcome some of those battles.

Can you give our readers some background on your music?
I am a Producer, Dj, Audio Engineer & Recording Artist. What I do is either compose music, write songs, mix records, and a disk jockey for private and public parties. I think something that sets me apart is that I am able to work in different avenues allowing me to give clients a broader range of services to offer. Its always exciting and proud moment to hear something I worked on across different mediums like tv, video games, or commercials.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success to me is being able to meet and surpass the goals that you have set out for yourself and or company. Being able to help out others as well is a sign of success for me to.
