Meet Raymond Goodall of Flosse

Today we’d like to introduce you to Raymond Goodall.

Raymond, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
It all started for me as early as a kid when I discovered my love for the arts. I went from dancing in the church to dancing my way into the first graduating class at The Chicago High School for the Arts, also known as ChiArts. While Attending ChiArts I studied musical theater. In the year of 2013, I graduated and after taking a gap year off I attended Roosevelt University where I got my Bachelors of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre with a concentration in dance.

During my years of living in Chicago I worked a lot in the theater scene as an actor/dancer. At the age of 19 I started teaching as a way of supporting myself during my Gap year between high school and college. There was where I grew as a choreographer and dance coach.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has definitely not been a smooth road. No road is fully smooth. At some point it gets bumpy somewhere down the line. An obstacle I had was during my junior year of high school I was diagnosed with non-hodgkin lymphoma. And then my senior year had a relapse, which caused me to take my Gap year. Spending my last two years of high school in and out of the hospital was in no way fun at all.

Please tell us about your work.
My name is Flosse. I am an actor/dancer/model and a choreographer. I specialize in the arts as well as do consultations with those seeking branding advice and other things to help them move forward in their entertainment career.
