Today we’d like to introduce you to Rachele and Raymond Rivera Jr.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Rachele and Raymond. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
My husband and I have been personal trainers and group fitness instructors for 20 years, we both enjoy helping people with their health and getting to their goals, whether it be just a personal goal, a competition or even preparation for a specific job that requires physical strength, endurance and flexibility. Over the many years of working with different clients, in corporate gyms and small fitness studios, we listened to our client’s suggestions or needs that were missing in the facilities that we worked in and decided to incorporate that in our own fitness studio that did not have that cold industrial feel to it, but still able to cater to the gym goers that wanted that hard-core workout. Fitness is Art is a very unique Fitness Studio/Boutique that had indoor classes and personal training indoors with basic light equipment as well as outdoor classes and personal training outdoors with hard core equipment. We offer no impact head to toe core training for face, neck and body to high impact hard core cross functional bootcamp training at various levels from beginner to very advanced athlete.
We have both trained athletes for preparation of competitions or sports events such as boxing, golf, tennis, marathons, triathlons, fitness competitions and bodybuilding competitions to training, S.W.A.T. teams, police, firefighters, navy seals, etc. We also specialize in pre/post pregnancy and surgery and senior training.
Most of our equipment is Eco-Friendly and our boutique offers a variety of Recycled, Certified Organic and Eco-Friendly products for sale so you don’t have to go elsewhere for certain things to shop.
We take pride in our customer service and our facility and want to make sure that all of our customers are happy and enjoy their time spent at our studio.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Not a smooth road at all. Struggles came from not getting a loan as a freshly married couple with great credit but no collateral. My parents loaned us some money, and putting nearly $70k in debt on credit cards we did it, we opened our dream fitness studio.
Also, working side by side with your spouse and spending 24/7 is a little difficult, we have pushed through though and our little Lucille Ball and Desi Arnez banter makes for a funny and interesting class sometimes. LOL.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Fitness is Art – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We are a very unique boutique fitness studio. Everyone loves our outdoor classes, they love the feel of not having a membership and that our classes are very personal.
We specialize in cross functional/circuit training. Personal training, nutrition, detox, rehabilitation pre/post surgery/pregnancy.
We train elite athletes, celebrities, marathon and triathlon athletes, spartan racers, boxers, police and fire fighters, swat, etc.
We are known for our exciting personalities and great customer service, along with our great kickass workouts.
We are most proud of how our studio is structured. It looks like a little house with a back yard to workout in doing the most extreme workouts, or go inside for the most peaceful yoga or energetic Zumba.
We are also proud of our customer service which we take pride in serving our community with.
No one has a studio outdoor/indoor like ours. 🙂
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
We are in the process of Franchising our little boutique studio so everyone can enjoy it all over the country.
