Meet Parisa Fowles-Pazdro of max-bone

Today we’d like to introduce you to Parisa Fowles-Pazdro.

Parisa, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I was in fashion and production before I started max-bone which made the transition to max-bone very natural since its exactly the same process as any other fashion line. My love for dogs and not be able to find good quality products for my own dogs started the venture.

I was raised in Sweden which reflects a lot in my designs, simplicity+ Quality = Perfection. My design aesthetic is inspired on a daily basis by both the fashion and interior design industry, with goal to create timeless, modern products that can be enjoyed by the entire family.

My vision for each product is to be part of your home and décor, to melt seamlessly into your surroundings.

Max-bone is a lifestyle brand showing significant growth, both within the USA, Europe and Asia. We have now opened our flagship store in West Hollywood, New York Soho and with a third retail store opening on May 1st 2018 in Pacific Palisades. All our stores are in prime locations since we want you to feel like you are going to into a high-end fashion store such us Chloe, Celine etc.

The goal is to change the way people shop for their dogs, giving the same experience as shopping in a high-end luxury store. Max-bone’s goal and vision is to be found in every dog lovers home.

Motto: Strive for perfection in everything you do. Take the best that exists and make it better.
When it doesn’t exist, design it.

Has it been a smooth road?
It has for sure not been a smooth Ride. Many many obstacles from building the stores to production to you name it. Starting your own business with your own capital is FAR from easy otherwise everyone would do it.

So, let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Max-bone story. Tell us more about the business.
Max-bone is a sophisticated brand for the dog lover, born by the desire for a simple and chic lifestyle for the entire family.

Designing modern pieces, with a focus on quality and fabrics, that are timeless. Based in Los Angeles and New York but styling pups worldwide.

The above is brief summery but we are extremely proud to through this process been helping different charity’s by donating a lot.

Our products are so different to other dog brands in many ways both aesthetic and quality which sets us apart and we are one of the few standalone brands that has their own retail spaces which gives the feel of being in a fashion store rather than a dog store.

What’s important is that all our products are design for practical reasons and our hoodies and jumpers are for dog that freezes or cover patches you want to cover and stop the hair from going everywhere. Even our bow ties can be used as a collar so it’s designed for practical reasons as well.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
The industry is growing and it’s a billion-dollar industry which we are happy to be part of.

Everyone sees their dogs as their kids and that’s the way it should be
