Meet Paolo Martinoglio of Silicon Beach Digital Agency in Culver City

Today we’d like to introduce you to Paolo Martinoglio.

Paolo, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I believe we all have dreams but, in order to make dreams come into reality, it takes an awful lot of determination, dedication, self-discipline and effort. When I first moved to Los Angeles, nothing has been easy and I had to work hard on myself as everyone else here in order to reach my goals.

Back in 2005, after completing my masters in Business at the University of Turin and working for my family’s business, I moved to Los Angeles in order to further my knowledge in Digital Marketing at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) where I learned a lot about the way to do business in the United States and I acquired technical skills.

Living and breathing in one of the most active startup ecosystems in the world, it gave me the opportunity to connect with many talented people and learn from different businesses.

After completing my course at UCLA, together with another entrepreneur Giacomo Mollo, we co-founded Silicon Beach Digital Agency with the idea of helping more entrepreneur to be at the very edge of the tech revolution. Our deep passion and commitment for innovative products and cutting-edge digital strategies led us to grow fast and become a full-marketing media house with a team of 10 and growing.

Our highly specialized marketers focus on social media, paid acquisition, creative content, web development, lead generation strategies, SEO/PPC Campaigns and brand strategies. We work across industries from early-stage startups planning a global product launch to more traditional businesses.

Has it been a smooth road?
To me, success is about diligently working towards your happiness. When I first moved to Los Angeles, I didn’t know anyone and I had to go through some hard times. The people that I met along my journey played a huge role in my personal success, I found amazing partners and friends and I definitely couldn’t accomplish most of what I have done so far without the support of others.

I learned to be humble and appreciate everything that surrounds me. My biggest challenge is to create something that can positively affect other people’s businesses and add value to their lives.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
Our industry is constantly changing and evolving. Our biggest challenge is to stay ahead of the curve and understand the latest trends better than anyone else. For this reason, It is hard to predict a scenario over the next 5-10 years in our industry but, in my opinion, here some of the trends that we will definitely see taking over soon:

– Chatbots have been around for years, but they’ve seen bigtime AI improvements recently. More and more brands are working on using chatbots for customer support and perfecting their customer acquisition strategy.
Right now, chatbots are mostly used for customer service but new tools and platforms are allowing to do much more than that.The crazy thing is, they are becoming so accurate that it’s very tough to tell if you’re talking to an actual person or a bot.

– Everything is mobile. Mobile will continue to be a top priority for marketers for years to come but for some crazy reason, many businesses are still not taking action. It is essential to put a mobile strategy in place to engage with your prospects and customers.

– Nothing on social media is as eye-catching as good video content. Social video engagement stats are going to be through the roof in 2018.
