Meet Palwasha Wali of LASH

Today we’d like to introduce you to Palwasha Wali.

Palwasha, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started my company “LASH Beverly Hills Eye & Lip Bar & Academy” about a year ago. We opened our first location on Rodeo drive in Beverly Hills and then opened our second location in Woodland Hills and planning to expand in the near future to have more location and share the love of Beauty to every soul on this planet.

Entering the entrepreneurship world was not just a dream but was always the biggest goal I had in life. I always admired those whom were in control of their lives and were a part of this industry. However, the journey of my life was a bit more of a roller coaster than the average. I reached to a point in life where I felt that I will never succeed and will not be able to overcome the challenges and the obstacles of life I was faced with. I also felt that I had to accept life the way it was and was on the urge of accepting the fact that I had to bury my dreams and just walk away.

It was just after I moved to LA, the city of Angeles that I realized the saying that “it is never too late to follow your dreams” was not just a cliché’ but was a reality. My journey of entrepreneurship started with my first location LASH Beverly Hills on Rodeo, a place which I only saw on TV and could never imagine working there, let alone the idea of owning my first business in the cosmetic capital of the world.

I could not be happier and I am beyond astonished by my success at both locations and am eager to expand and to inspire others and to make them believe that everything is possible just with the right amount of dedication.

Has it been a smooth road?
Just like every other aspect of my life, the journey of entrepreneurship was not a smooth road for me. Being new and naive to the world of entrepreneurship I was taken advantage of by same experienced con artists in the industry.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the LASH BEVERLY HILLS EYE & LIP BAR & ACADEMY story. Tell us more about the business.
My business’s main focus is to make everyone’s eyes and lips more beautiful and also training others to follow the same path. My company specializes in the application of eyelash extensions, permanent make-up and providing training to those whom would like to be a part of this booming industry and are interested to become an eyelash extension technicians or a permanent make-up artists.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
The beauty industry is only getting better and better and I believe in 5-10 years the industry will be more advanced and influential than it has ever been.
