Meet Meital Atias of Orga Foods in West Hollywood

Today we’d like to introduce you to Meital Atias.

Meital, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I am happily married and a mother of three amazing kids! I’ve always believed that there is a strong connection between health and diet. I have a vision and a deep passion for making healthy & tasty organic foods to share with the world. With my background in naturopathic medicine, and as a certified medicine coach, I believe that the best way to improve people’s lives is through their gut– and all of our products do JUST that. Our snacks are unique and offer a new flare to the health food world and marketplace. When I was pregnant with my first child I decided to change the way I ate and began to load my body with good nutrition. I decided not to use any refined sugars and was conscious of only including non-GMO ingredients in my diet. In the kitchen, I wanted the ingredients I used to be rich in antioxidants, vitamins and omega’s. But most importantly, I believe that whatever I create should never compromise amazing taste and quality!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Definitely not easy but I always try to maintain a positive attitude when having to deal with the difficulties that can arise when balancing my time devoted to the business and the time I dedicate for my family.

Please tell us about your business.
We are a health food company based out of Los Angeles, CA, and have created our products for people wanting to live a fit and healthy lifestyle. All of our products are highly nutritious and extremely delicious! The ingredients we source are always of the highest quality. We use only Organic and All-Natural foods that are free of any chemicals, preservatives and pesticides. They are also certified gluten-free, vegan, kosher and GMO-free.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
We plan to continue to grow the Orga Foods brand and its products to be available both nationally & globally. We want our healthy products to be available in every household and to make our products as affordable as possible so everyone can have the chance to find out what truly healthy snacks taste like. We will also be adding new flavors as well as new products into market starting 2nd quarter of 2020!
