Today we’d like to introduce you to Noune Diarbekirian.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Noune. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I was a classically trained ballet dancer and got my education in former USSR. I moved to the United States in 1992 to perform and decided to stay to further my career in hopes of better opportunities. But life doesn’t always work out the way we want I met someone wonderful fell in love, started a family and had two wonderful boys.
My dreams of dancing full time in a professional company diminished, but I never gave up on dancing. The next 13 years I was able to dance in local companies while having fun being a mom. A Hip injury led me to find Pilates and The Gyrotonic® method, which helped me get stronger and a much healthier body. I liked how I looked and loved how I felt so I decided to get certified and help others to look and feel great!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road but with the ups and downs I have been able to live a wonderful healthy life while enjoying the journey of my life
Please tell us more about your work.
I’m a PMA certified Pilates instructor and a certified Gyrotonic® method instructor. I work with dancers, c athletes, swimmers, figure skaters, and the general population
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
I love what I do very much, I wake up every day motivated from the thought of helping others achieve their goals, whether it’s getting stronger or healing from in injury. In the future, I plan on expanding my business and expanding my outreach to help more and more people.
