Meet Noa Keimach of NoaBee

Today we’d like to introduce you to Noa Keimach.

Noa, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I went to Massachusetts College of Art and have a degree in Painting, but I’ve also always loved fashion, NoaBee combines both! My company was born when I decided to spruce up one of my daughter’s very plain denim jackets by adding her initials and some fun hand-painted leopard print. Instantly her jacket stood out, which is especially helpful when you have a child constantly taking their jacket off and leaving it places around school! Pretty soon, my daughter’s classmates were asking for decorated jackets as well and it went from there!

Has it been a smooth road?
My biggest challenge has been finding the quiet time to paint the jackets, as I have three young children and I teach art at a local elementary school!

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the NoaBee story. Tell us more about the business.
Every piece is custom made. I paint jackets (kids and adults) and high-end luxury handbags. I work with the client to design a unique piece. Jackets can be custom ordered for many occasions, including birthday gifts, bridal showers, big brother/big sister or best friend matching jackets! Because each piece is custom ordered, I hand paint everything myself and make something which was once old or plain, become an instant favorite.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
Right now, my business is purely word of mouth, I would love to see that grow and transform into a full-time enterprise!

  • Kids jackets start at $98+
  • Adult jackets start at $195-$250+
