Meet Nicole Rose

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicole Rose.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Nicole. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started doing nails in late 2017 while I was working as a Case Manager. I wanted to be a therapist for mental health but working as a Case Manager, I realized that people will open up to their “hairstylist, nail professional, barber, etc.” before opening up to anyone closest to them. I wanted to bring what I learned as a Case Manager and having therapy background into the beauty industry.

I started working at Laque Nail Bar in early 2018 and moved onto working at Summit Nail Bar along aside of Chaun Legend. Since then, I have worked with the top celebrity clientele as well as the most inspiring clientele from my everyday clients. I have opened my own salon suite in Inglewood, CA. I specialize in nail healthiness and quality nails.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road, I have worked at four different nail salons before finding the right fit for me. Some of the difficulties I have faced are ongoing clientele, competition with other nail professionals and working sun up to sun down to gain and keep clientele.

Alright – so let’s talk business.  What else should we know about you and your career so far?

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
My plans for the future are opening beauty bars (one stop shop—lashes, facials, nails, hair, waxing, etc.) for the inner cities. I also plan on providing ongoing nail classes and education to the community.
