Meet Nathalie Iglesias and Camillia Crous of Cureosity in Beverly Hills

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nathalie Iglesias and Camillia Crous.

Cureosity started because Nathalie had been working with CBD with her uncle over the past two years, she started to learn everything about the business. What were the real benefits of CBD, how the industry really worked, what were the different types of CBD etc. Nathalie started developing Cureosity since July of 2019, perfecting each and every little detail. From the name to the branding, to the formula for her products. When she was looking for a partner, as a sign of fate she ran into Camillia in a Pilates class (they had worked on a short film a couple of years before and became friends but lost contact) they reconnected and that’s how Nathalie brought Cami into the Cureosity team. Today we have become like sisters, our love for our business has brought us even closer and we collaborate on almost everything. We launched Cureosity two months ago, and we both handle every aspect of our business, with our own contacts and rolledex we have been able to keep expanding. We also have amazing friends and family that have supported us in our business and spread the word on our products because they love the results.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has definitely not been the smoothest ride. To begin with, Nathalie lost two partners before finding Cami which now has become the perfect fit! Then and the most obvious was Corona hit (not convenient at all right) So we were supposed to launch the brand on March 27, two weeks before quarantine started. Of course, our lab got closed down and all the production was halted, pushing back our launch three months. Also, since it’s only the two of us we’ve had to become experts in almost every aspect, so it’s been most of a trial and error. Also, getting the word out there about the brand and brand recognition has been a challenge. Getting the right promotion these days is so difficult.

Please tell us about Cureosity.
Cureosity is a vegan CBD infused skincare brand. Our CBD serums and CBD toners are made with the highest quality, lab-tested CBD. Cureosity products offer irritant-free & chemical-free skincare to replenish your skin’s vitality. We have seen an unprecedented demand for CBD products in skincare, by the year 2025 the CBD skincare business is going to reach 1.5 billion of dollars if not more.

We are most proud that with only a team of two first-time entrepreneurs, we are able to sell a product, people are excited to use and see an actual difference in their skin. Every time someone buys our products we receive messages on how good and different their skin feels, and we can’t just help but fill ourselves with joy and gratification that our users see an actual difference. We have also seen the both men and women use our products and both are extremely happy with the results.

What sets us apart from others is that we take the time to personally connect with customers, we go hand in hand with them on their skincare journey, explain to them how to use our products and answer personally any questions and concerns they have. Also, we always follow up with them to see how they’re doing and if they have seen any changes on their skin. Both of our products are vegan and we use minimal ingredients to assure that we don’t have any dirty chemicals that would cause any harm to our consumers. Our goal is to go completely vegan and use other plants that will push even further the benefits CBD has on the skin. So keep on the lookout for some magical formulas.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
We both grew up out of the US, Nathalie in Colombia and Cami between South Africa and Egypt. We both grew up always being surrounded by family. Which is something that as of today, we value the most. Most of our memories involve always being with our siblings and parents, spending time together going horseback riding, taking trips, and enjoying a beautiful day at the beach with lots of food.
