Meet Natalie De Souza Ferreyra of Natalie Stories in Westlake Village

Today we’d like to introduce you to Natalie De Souza Ferreyra.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Natalie. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I was born in Lima, Peru with a passion for making people smile and eagerness to create and inform. At six years old, I designed and distributed a “newspaper” to kids at school, with news on school activities and trending topics (like Furbys and Play Stations) – it was later banned because I didn’t go through the school to distribute it.

When I was in middle school in Thousand Oaks, CA at 12 years old, I started my middle school’s “news network” (CNN Colina’s News Network). I’d record activities, interview teachers, and hosted as an anchor, then distributed DVDs to homerooms.

When I reached high school, I so wanted to be a journalist, but my desire to start a business took over, and I knew I’d find a way to combine both. So, I got a bachelor’s in Business Administration while working on marketing internships in 2013, running social media accounts for clients. This was back when Facebook and Instagram were barely starting their marketing capabilities – I helped one of my clients’ revenue by so much, he was able to open a second location.

I joined Disney Television for marketing, but my passion to create and build really took over when I started an original live show called Beauty Leaks, on Beauty Bible TV, a former beauty Facebook page that grew to 2M followers. There, I ran daily live makeup shows to engage the audience and created a chatbot to capture Messenger subscribers, send them automated tips, and build a bigger fanbase. But my passion for marketing and business took over, so I joined Infusionsoft and started a live show based on marketing tips and entrepreneurial advice!

Honestly, I believe joining Infusionsoft was one of the best decisions I ever made because it truly helped me become the businesswoman I am today. Since joining, I solidified my brand, have spoken on stages worldwide, providing value to business professionals of all ages, as well as students at universities. Providing value to others, and creating innovative marketing strategies are truly satisfying and makes me happy. This is why I officially founded Natalie Stories, LLC, named after my personal brand.

Natalie Stories has helped podcasters, other personal brands, businesses, and students maximize their potential, as well as reach millions of social media video views and dollars in sales.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has definitely not been a smooth road – Starting with online bullying, my own self-doubt, battling constant judgment from others, and a toxic relationship that hovered over for a big chunk of my start. Growing and becoming independent as a woman is already hard enough, as you’re constantly trying to prove yourself in front of powerful men who have a biased about you before you’ve spoken a word. I’m grateful to have had the incredible support from family, friends, and therapy to help me get to where I am today, where some of those negative factors are still around, but they’re manageable and not an impediment.

Please tell us about Natalie Stories.
Natalie Stories is the business name for my personal brand, which I also use to consult and build a digital strategy for brands, public figures, and corporations. I create a plan that will help them generate sales through social channels and increase engagement and awareness of their brand.

What sets me apart from others is that I am a personal brand myself and have on-the-ground experience on everything I teach about. Not only do I host shows, have grown social media pages massively as Natalie, but I also have experience and success on the marketing side for corporations. I am both a consumer and a brand.

I have also received a Case Study on Facebook’s official business page where they highlighted a social media ad my team built. Five million views and massive revenue.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite memory from childhood was entertaining people on the Nutcracker stage – I played a ballerina every Christmas time, on a variety of stages.
