Meet Nancy Lucas of Creative Home Healing in Santa Monica

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nancy Lucas.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
After working in fashion all my life and the last 30 years in PR and Marketing working with some of the most important brands in the world including, Giorgio Armani, Chanel, and Dolce & Gabanna, I really wanted to utilize my creative talents in a new way. I was open to discovering something new and a way to share my gifts. I always had some sort of spiritual practice and discovered Kundalini yoga when in high school. I have always been interested in theories on the afterlife and Quantum Physics and had my own personal healing practicing yoga, meditation, and life visioning with Rev Michael Bernard Beckwith. I started going to RAMA Institute in Venice and discovered Guru Jagat, the teacher, and founder, and remembered why I loved Kundalini yoga so much. I delved in full steam and went to retreats and then a trip with her to India. While in a meditation, I got the download of an idea to help people heal and find peace from the world outside. We all need this from the stress we are faced with daily. They say peace and happiness is an inside job but our environment is such a contributing factor to how we are feeling. Not to mention, all of us need some kind of healing.

With this divine inspiration, I developed a business using ancient modalities that have been practiced for thousands of years and bring these together in one place for a full and effective result. I did lots of research on energy. Every space is filled with vibrating energy fields and a multitude of realms within that space. In addition to the purely physical realm of your home or office and the physical objects within it, there are emotional energies and a multitude of spiritual and etheric energies. All things have an energy and objects carry energy. Psychometry is based on the idea that a person’s feelings, thoughts, and personality imprint on their physical objects and surroundings. This includes the previous inhabitants and objects brought into the home; including antiques. The land on which the structure was erected can also influence the energy of a home. If built over a previous grave site, for instance, the homes energy field may be adversely affected. Your space is also affected by the spiritual energy and the love and care you give it.

I had had someone named Heather McCall do a clearing in my own home, that had felt heavy to me, just a year before that and I had been going to gong baths and knew the benefits of sound. So, Heather was the first person I called and from there I found Francoise Courty – Dan who is a Feng Shui master and Lili Petit a Somatic breath worker and clutter healer and I built from there. Our crystal grid designers work on both personal grids and grids placed in the foundation to balance and amplify the energy prior to being built. We now have an Akashic reader who can help anyone feeling confused or lost find clarity and purpose, Leeta creates personal aura mists and more. Everyone works using their own techniques, so once I have a consultation and know what is going on or what a person is feeling, I can then suggest the perfect expert and services.

Creative Home Healing is a place one can go to find experts who work together to heal and balance the energies creating a more peaceful healing environment. The benefits of this include, more restful sleep, feeling calmer and peaceful, more creativity, more abundance, more productive and in harmony with life. Like a drop of water in an ocean, this healing then has a ripple-like effect on all other areas of your life. Recently we added events services offering tarot, palm reading, an aura photo booth, sound baths and mind travel experiences. All of these services align with healing in their own way.

I still have my PR business and continue representing clients and fashion continues to be a passion, but life is richer and with new meaning seeing the results from the work we are doing at CHH. Any idea – as crazy as it may seem – is possible to manifest if we put in the work.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Creating a new company isn’t easy. Today we also have to build websites, social media platforms and everything else. I am also a perfectionist so things took even longer to get it just right. Finally, someone said you need to just pull the plug and start doing the work you are here to do and that’s what I did and from there, things started happening. It doesn’t happen overnight and everything requires lots of work but I am committed to the work and being a success. After that, trust and faith…

Creative Home Healing – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Creative Home Healing is unique because we are bringing many experts together in one place to heal and harmonize spaces and people. You can buy all the crystals you want but if you are not feeling good energy in your home, there may be a deeper reason. Many people see ghosts and those energies are real. Most times, just identifying these is all we need to feel ok with them. They say that the energy from a person can remain in our auric field for up to seven years without clearing them. Well if you liked the person that is fine but if this was a volatile or abusive relationship a clearing and personal Reiki session may be needed. My experts are working with clients of all walks of life and we see the results and they tell us about the differences they feel after. There is deep healing taking place in many cases. One client called in tears recently say – the expert cleared my home but also healed my heart – that is how I know we are doing something profound.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
My own personal definition of success is if what I am doing makes me happy and I feel rewarded. If what I am doing can benefit someone else as a result – is the ultimate success. At this stage of my life, I want to make a difference, whether big or small, that affects others in a positive way.
