Today we’d like to introduce you to Nadia Francois.
Nadia Lindsey Francois, native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana is a serial entrepreneur with a heart for people. A hairstylist by trade, Nadia holds current licenses in Cosmetology and Barbering and a B.S. in Business Administration. She began her entrepreneurial journey at the age of 19 and has used her experiences and knowledge to help other business owners start and grow their businesses.
Nadia’s number one assignment is being the mother and sole provider for her four sons, the driving force behind her persistent hustle and diligent pursuit of greatness. She is the Founder and Executive Director of Sistars of Empowerment, Inc. a nonprofit that focuses on empowering, educating and inspiring women and the youth in Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas. In February 2013, Nadia decided to pursue her dream of giving back and established a platform that provides tools for enhancing knowledge, life skills and entrepreneurship. She uses her life experiences along with the outreach of other mentors and professionals to empower our women and children to become successful, confident, self-sufficient members of society. She is a trailblazer who has developed a series of programs, publications and workshops that contribute to personal and entrepreneurial growth. Under Nadia’s leadership, SOE started off as a group of friends wanting to give countless acts of community service and has now grown into a thriving sisterhood that incorporates motivational and business workshops, youth confidence and esteem pageants as well as entrepreneurial mentorship.
In August 2018, Nadia became a first-time author. She published The Entrepreneur Activity Workbook as her first project which is very close to her heart. She created this workbook to assist entrepreneurs in having a clear business plan and understanding of their business goals. Participating in 2 additional book projects, Nadia attained the esteemed recognition of International Best Selling Author for Better Woman Better World Book One. Her latest writing project, launched October 2020 includes faith-based, What’s Your Super Power Anthology where Nadia Francois and an amazing group of female authors have contributed their compelling stories of strength and resilience while overcoming life’s obstacles. This anthology is guaranteed to motivate its readers to push through to purpose and obtain a closer relationship with our Father. After launching this book Nadia was offered the amazing opportunity of a television series called What’s Your Super Power TV that will stream on several digital platforms including RokuTV, AmazonTV and AppleTV. This series will showcase female pioneers and entrepreneurs worldwide giving their testaments of faith and fulfillment. Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Of course not, I have gone through a divorce, tried tested and failed at business ventures and raised my four sons alone.

What’s Your Super Power TV Channel Slated to Launch this Spring
Nationwide -The launch of What’s Your Super Power Tv Channel (WYSP TV) premieres next month on Exposure TV Network. Monday, April 5, 2021 WYSP Tv Channel makes its debut on the minority owned streaming network Exposure TV Network. WYSP Tv Channel provides opportunities for brand exposure and expansion, creative outlets and content, motivation and inspiration through this platform.
WYSP TV is a streaming channel that highlights minority content creators, entrepreneurs, and pioneers’ greatness. Owned by entrepreneur and author Nadia Francois, the network aims to educate and empower its viewers, exposing them to new things and new ways of thinking.
“When I was first presented with the opportunity to own a channel, I wasn’t sure about it,” says Francois. “However, I prayed on it and realized that it was an opportunity not only for myself but also for so many others who would like a chance to be on tv. So I decided to take it and give it my all.”
