Today we’d like to introduce you to Michelle Lewis, Paul Davis and Ryan Clapham.
Michelle, Paul and Ryan, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
We officially formed in 2013 when I met Ryan and Paul. Ryan and Paul being childhood friends grew up playing music together and everything just kind of fell into place organically from there. We got early radio support from radio stations like KCRW, online music blogs and lots of television show syncs.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Ups and downs for sure. Not always the easiest especially while all trying to maintain full-time day jobs at one point but receiving such positive feedback from a loyal fan base kept us going over the past seven years.
Please tell us about Cannons.
Cannons is our business/band and we aim to share our creation with people and have it mean something to someone across the world. Whether that’s helping someone not feel alone in a situation or making someone dance, then business is good!
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
Honestly, things feel pretty serendipitous and we really wouldn’t change anything or else we wouldn’t be where we are today.
