Today we’d like to introduce you to Michele Sherman.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
As a young woman, I struggled with an eating disorder, very low self-esteem and depression compounded with a lack of family support which resulted with me feeling very lost and confused. Through the healing arts and therapy, I found my inner strength, healed myself, it took many years but it was worth the work I put into myself. Through my own healing, I wanted to help others learn to navigate their own lives and make healthier choices so they could feel empowered vs discouraged.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
My parents moved out of State without emotional and or financial support. I worked to pay for my BA and MA’s degree. The financial strain and mandatory 3000 hours of working for minimal money to get my hours to become licensed was extremely challenging. Many new interns are thrust into working with the most difficult populations without proper experience or supervision. You have to find your inner strength to push through and see that there is another side to practice or you’ll never succeed.
We’d love to hear more about your business.
My clients all tell me that I think outside the box. My clients appreciate my unique outlook and approach to their various issues and lives challenges.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
My husband has been my greatest advocate and support.
