Meet Michael Cox, Jeff Simsta and Pat Smith of The Profanity Nation in Carson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Michael Cox, Jeff Simsta and Pat Smith.

The Profanity Nation, LLC was started by three sports fans that happened to meet as season ticket holders for the NBA G-League South Bay Lakers. Money Mic, Stat Pat and Simsta felt there wasn’t nearly enough coverage for the South Bay Lakers as there should be and there was a need for a podcast show that allowed fans to have a voice, but not just fans, Professional Fans. So The ProFANity Nation was born – (The Pro-Fan Nation).

What started as primarily a G-League podcast quickly grew into all sports as well as current affairs and social issues. We have press credentials for local professional teams and we participate as well as report on the press conferences. The growth has been amazing and fast. The Profanity Nation Podcast averages over a million downloads per month on the Bshani Radio App alone and is available everywhere podcasts are heard. We record the podcast live complete with video weekly on Sundays at 8:30pm and you can watch it live on The Profanity Nation Youtube and Facebook channels.

As we continue to grow, we look to support our fellow podcasters and are very active with that. The guests on our show range from athletes and agents to podcasters and professional fans and we try to spread the word of positivity. Quite contrary to the name, there is no profanity on the show, just Professional Fans.

Has it been a smooth road?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road and there have definitely been some difficult decisions to make for the success of The Profanity Nation, LLC to continue, however, with three great partners, all obstacles can be cleared.

Please tell us about The Profanity Nation.
