Meet Meagan Lesher

Today we’d like to introduce you to Meagan Lesher.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Meagan. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Hey everyone, honestly as a little girl, I was always the tall/petite one. Very athletic, I’ve been in shape for all of my life. Growing up , I always got told I should model. Later on, in high school , some of my friends were photographers and we would shoot together. It just went from there. I started to grow more and more. I also am an entrepreneur & love to do business vs a job. Just my personal preference because I love my freedom and to set my own schedule. Running a business/businesses is a lot of hard work. I wouldn’t trade it for the world. I wanted to become a cosmetologist because I enjoy making other people feel positive, feel better about themselves & to help others. Unfortunately, two years later, working weekends just wasn’t fun for me. So I eventually leaped faith and quit. I love to rollerskate! I skate every Friday & Saturday night since I was about six years old. I’ve done quite a few different businesses & I have learned so much! I am thankful and grateful for all the experiences and lessons I’ve learned. Overall, I love to do many different things and help others.

Has it been a smooth road?
Life is such a beautiful journey & I would say my journey looks like a heartbeat, to say the least! Some of the struggles I’ve faced is not having self love and self care for myself and not believing enough in myself. There have been plenty of times I’ve wanted to quit and have. I kept choosing different paths to take and I got frustrated because I kept asking myself, “what do I want to do in life.” Understanding that not everyone is going to support you on your journey. You will lose friends and gain new ones. You cannot please everyone. Especially when you are growing your social media like I am. It’s a lot of trial and error. I remember I would be super excited about starting a new journey, telling someone about it and they were absolutely negative about it. I’m also completely deaf in my right ear. So that has always been a struggle of mine as well. I am very petite, so growing up, I was always made fun of for my size.

We’d love to hear more about your work.
I am a model & looking into new business ventures as I write this. I am a model from the Inland Empire, who is known for being super positive, motivational, inspirational, a rollerskater, a hustler, a community activist, and this year now a YouTuber. I am most proud of my genuine, loving, caring heart. I love being positive and motivational for others. My passion for helping others is absolutely out of this world. I’m always posting motivational quotes and sharing my life with my followers and giving tips and tricks. What sets me apart from others is that I am not a stuck up model. I will never forget where I came from. I don’t just model, but I rollerskate as well! I do my own thing. The number one thing is my heart. I love to give and help. Motivate & inspire. I always put others before myself.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
I feel like any city is a good place for an entrepreneur like myself. If someone is starting, I will let them know that it is not about the location; it is all about how well your hustle. You can be in New York city even, but if you don’t hustle to put yourself out there, nothing will work. Success is not just going to come to you. It doesn’t matter how talented you are. Hustle beats talent any day. You have to go out there and make a name for yourself.
