Today we’d like to introduce you to McGhie Allan.
McGhie, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
In the summer of 2014, my wife and I visited Los Angeles, at the time I was in Property Management in The San Francisco Bay Area. During the trip, I had this pull to the area I couldn’t explain at first. So, I did some research on the market and I quickly realized that there was no management company serving the luxury single-family properties in the LA.
There are hundreds of companies that manage apartments and some that managed lower rents under $6,000 a month. Honestly, I was shocked. Here was this huge market being underserved in the specific part of real estate that I just happened to have a decade of experience in. A few months later I relocated my family and launched Inzio. Inzio was inspired by wife’s Italian heritage. Inzio is a derivative of the Italian word Inizio; to start, a new beginning.
Don’t get me wrong starting a Real Estate company in Beverly Hills when you don’t know anyone can seem a little insane but we knew the need was strong and the opportunity was huge. All of our new business, in the beginning, were referrals, from my friends in the entertainment industry clients and other real estate agents. Since we don’t do sales we are a safe place for agents to refer business. We have become a go-to expert on leasing and management.
The next big step was Estate Management. It was a natural transition since the aspects are the same, minus the tenant and each estate has customized services tailored to our client’s needs. Next year we are looking to open an office in NYC and Miami.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
We have had our share of bumps, mostly growing pains which are to be expected. In the early days, we were faced with opportunities that were not aligned with our missions. I had business come my way at the beginning that did not fit our luxury brand and I had to say no. Which meant saying no to money at the time with a brand new start company.
I have to say I am proud of this and my team because while it might have sounded impractical, it actually strengthened our dedication to our clients and our standards that we pride ourselves on.

Inzio is changing the way Property Management is done. We have taken a part of real estate that has historically been looked in a negative way or less than. We are a full-service residential property management company founded exclusively to manage high-end single family homes, townhomes and condominiums in Beverly Hills & the Greater Los Angeles area. Inzio provides exceptional professional service and unmatched expertise in residential property management. Property owners often have to turn their luxury homes over to management companies that manage apartment buildings, industrial space, commercial buildings and Home Owners Associations in addition to single-family homes.
By focusing exclusively on high-end single family homes, townhomes and condominiums, our company brings the most comprehensive service, market knowledge and expertise to a segment of the property management industry that is traditionally underserved.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success to me is very tired. I have my plans to expand into two more luxury markets next year in addition to that I have several other projects. So, success to me is growth, growing Inzio. Having amazing employees that embody the standards we have and thoroughly enjoy being part of Inzio. And nothing beats happy clients!
