Meet Maury Danielle of B Free 2 Fly International in West Los Angeles

Today we’d like to introduce you to Maury Danielle.

Maury, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I went through a really bad and abusive marriage. As I begin to seek out help, I realized how many other men, women and children were in the same situation. I started doing the work through research, support groups, trauma/talk therapy, journaling and then onto writing and publishing a book. Through my book, I was able to walk out wholeness and find healing. I also was able to speak about generational trauma, mental illness and the need for mental health. This made me want to help others. I started to talk more about my experiences and the education that I gained along the way. This opened up many conversations and begin to help many people identify and process their pain. I realized through depression and grief, there still can be great gain if we learn how to process it. The world is hurting everyday and everyday people are dealing with loss and mourning something on top of balancing their mental health. This started the journey and it continues to inform others about the effects of domestic abuse, mental illness and grief.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has been very difficult to start a ministry and a conversation around mental health because I first had to look within and do the work of self-discovery and family discovery. I had to identify with my trauma, my loss, my grief in order to be able help someone else. There is a process to healing and everyday I had to chose to walk the healing out recognizing that there is a process to the process. Writing a book and being comfortable enough to share my story with so many others, came with fear and intrepidation, but realizing this was apart of my life purpose. So there have been legal and judicial obstacles, financial challenges and at times emotional disparity. What I came to realize in surviving the past abuse in my marriage is that any form of abuse is never ok. I struggled with how I ended up in that relationship, but it was even more of a struggle to get out.

B Free 2 Fly International – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
The business/ministry was launched last year 2019. I am a transformational speaker, author, serial entrepreneur and thought provoker dedicated to changing the world of domestic abuse and generational trauma. Since publishing my first book, the impact of the conversations that have been sparked from this platform has been life-changing and motivating. I am excited to see how the business/ministry grows and looking to gain more of an international presence. Speaking to small groups and large groups in churches, conferences, high schools and university settings. My spiritual intuition and discernment definitely set me apart as I integrate faith with mental health and trauma survivors.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I define success when I see the growth and healing of those that I have worked with changed, inspired, motivated to do the things that they were created to do. Success in business means something different to everyone, but for me knowing that I am operating in what I have been called to do and passionate about what I do is fulfilling. Success for me is not determined by how much money I make upfront, but more about the spiritual knowledge and intellectual seeds that are planted across the world. When you are doing what you are passionate about and called to do, the rest follows. I have a vision and I set goals for where I would like to be in one year and even five years from now. Everyday I am working towards those goals.
