Meet Marc Solomon of Epic Music Spaceship in HOLLYWOOD

Today we’d like to introduce you to Marc Solomon.

Marc Solomon was born in South Florida and began playing guitar at the age of 12! By 15, he was collaborating and booking shows for the ensembles he had created. By 18, Solomon was signed to a band who appeared on the Billboard Charts! From there, Solomon was inspired to Produce a Self-titled EP. Still, there was more to learn. He attended the Audio Engineering course in SAE, NYC.

After graduating, he worked for Phase One Records. Where he decided to branch out to the West Coast, he opened his private recording suite in Hollywood, where he currently resides!

Has it been a smooth road?
It’s definitely not been an easy path! There have been many bumps in my road! All we can do is work past them. 🙂 CARPEDIUM!

Seriously though, I’ve made a lot of mistakes and have had many successes! I’m grateful for all my scars because they’ve made me the driven entrepreneur I have become. To all my HATERS… Thank you… lol!

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Epic Music Spaceship – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
I like to keep a tight ship here at Epic Music Spaceship! Lately, I’ve been working on projects from Feature Films, Audiobooks, Theme songs, Albums, Singles, EPs and Literally anything I can get my hands on.

I really enjoy running an indie studio because I can give people a personalized experience that’s specific to their vision! I like to make sure the overall TONE is right. The performance is KEY!

Furthermore, I’ve had the opportunity to work with notable Artists of the Industry such as Geoff Emerick (The Beatles.) Danny way (DC Clothing,) Quavo, Rich the Kid, Lil Yachty, Crazy Bone of BONE THUGS, & Grammy Award Winning producer Steve Pagoet!

I’ve mixed for Folks such as Andy Dick, KVON, Shwayze, LMFAO, G-Easy, BIG SYKE of THUG LYFE, Keyshia Cole, Mod Sun and SOOO MANY MORE! It’s been a great ride thus far!

As for my specialty, I LOVE working with Singer/Songwriters because I am one. Also, I love to figure out what a song wants to be when It grows up! Trusting the process is EVERYTHING because it always comes out in the wash. 🙂

Anyway. I play a bunch of instruments so I can produce your tracks but also I can effectively MIX and MASTER! 17 years on Protools makes me believe I can literally make anything! Hope that answers this question. Lol.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and the least?
Hollywood is a unique place that feels like Florida because it’s chill, and also similar to NYC in that there is a HUSTLE factor!

I enjoy riding my bike through the neighborhoods, and I really love the beach! The LA weather is phenomenal even though it could totally make up its mind sometimes!

Also, I dig that it’s easy to be a healthy person and eat super clean if you want to. Most of the Country is getting to a place where you can eat clean, but LA has SOOO MANY OPTIONS to eat right. 🙂
