Meet Lynisha Hyche and Xavier Henderson of SoulfulofNoise

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lynisha Hyche and Xavier Henderson.

Lynisha and Xavier, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Lynisha started SoulfulofNoise as a blog in October of 2016. She’s always been a creative and wanted to have an outlet to cover new and emerging talent as well as pay homage to the greats from times past. We decided in February to go from serving as a blog to becoming a complete platform for Independent Music Artists. There is a sad reality that exists in LAs music market. Most independent artists have to pay to do shows. Most venues won’t give them a chance, and most established artists wont either. So, we decided to throw our own shows. We provide the band, we book the venues, we even bring all the people. All the artists have to do is show up and SHOW OUT! This universe we live in exists on a supreme exchange system. If you give to others, you receive from others. We started off with the artists in mind and have received blessings because of that.

We had our first concert February 18, 2017 to a crowd of about 150 people. We found the band through word of mouth, and the majority of the artists through friends and Instagram. It’s crazy how God works, because some those same artists that performed on that show February 18th are still with us today! Now we do about 4 shows a month and are in the process of planning a 10 City Tour to take SoulfulofNoise to other markets. Our first tour date is April 7th in San Diego.

The company is an extension of our relationship. When things are going well with us the events flourish, when things aren’t going so well at home, well let’s just say the events aren’t too pretty lol. The truth is, it’s not always easy to work with your mate, but it is so much more satisfying. Sometimes we are too tired to even take it all in. But occasionally, when it’s just us we sit back and realize everything that we’ve accomplished together and it is really a beautiful thing. Our team consists of a few relatives and close friends who are dedicated to helping us accomplish our vision. My twin brother Aaron Henderson has been with us since the very beginning and has been a vital part of our operation. Our photographer Brittany Lyles has also been with us since day one and is like a sister. The list goes on but just to name a few players on the team we have Jakobe Thabet, Jordan Alexander (videographer), Zipporah Robinson, and our house band The Noise.

Our growth has been the result of showing love to everyone at every event. We are humbled by the help we have received along the way and the partnerships that we have developed. Karma Tequila has helped our platform rise to new heights. Comfort LA has given us a home and gave us a chance when NO ONE ELSE DID! However, the most important element to our rapid growth has been and will always be the people that attend the events. We have the coolest crowd in LA PERIOD! No VIP, No bougie BS, No Drama. Just everyday people getting together and sharing Good Vibes while listening to Good Music. We don’t know what the future holds for us, but as long as we can stay true to who we are as a couple and always provide a safe haven for music artists we believe that we will do fine.

Has it been a smooth road?
Smooth road as in a mascara track, then yes. We literally feel like things are going 150 miles an hour and one wrong turn and BOOM! We are normal people, a normal couple. We get overwhelmed, we get tired, we make bad financial decisions sometimes, we pick the wrong artists sometimes, we get into arguments at events sometimes. We are VERY VERY Human and business its unforgiving. Truth be told though, we wouldn’t have it any other way. We believe that people gravitate towards us because we are so real. There’s so much fake, synthetic, and superficial things and people in this city and we believe that people crave something outside of the matrix. So yes, there’s plenty of problems, but the problems build character and you can never have too much of that.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
SoulfulofNoise is a music platform designed to empower independent artists. We showcase the best artists in the country through our events and our website. We give good music and quality entertainment to the people who need it most. We are most proud of our foundation. At our core we are a couple who are just trying to serve God and serve our fellow man. We want every single thing we do to look and feel like family. When you come to a SoulfulofNoise event you don’t worry about being judged for your hair, your color, your gender, your looks, your body, your faith, your nationality, or any of the bus that happens daily in LA. We aren’t the flashiest, we don’t have the best of anything, we use what we have to do the best we can. We truly believe that we have the REALEST music experience in LA.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Los Angeles is the mecca of entertainment. PERIOD. If you want to do something in entertainment then this is the place to do it. There’s something for everyone, and there’s someone for everyone. You will find people that there are plenty of people who think just like you do and are willing to chase the same dream as you. When you pull back the curtains there’s a lot of culture here.

I am so proud of Xavier and Lynisha. I’ve attended a couple of their events and they are “World Class”. The crowd is always mature, without drama and the music is some of the best I’ve heard. With the right amount of advertising the two of them and their organization will continue to grow. LA had better get ready because they are here to stay. Best of everything for these two!!!
