Today we’d like to introduce you to Lorenzo Guevara.
Lorenzo, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I am a model/actor. My mom had me start modeling when I was eight years old for JC penny I did that for a year or two then stopped as I got older I was known for having a sense of style and I knowing how to dress and carry my self well I always one best dressed thru out high school.
As time would go by I would always get compliments from friends and family telling me I’m handsome and that I should really take modeling seriously again. It’s one thing to hear from friends and family but when I started hearing it from random strangers that’s when u knew modeling was for me so I decided to pack up and drive from Dc to LA to pursue my dreams.
What I didn’t expect was that when I got here modeling would land my first TV appearance and it wasn’t for modeling it was to be on MTV fear factor as a contestant I was honored not only to be on the show but to Win and be labeled a fear factor champion that opened doors allowing me to be seen witch then landed me on multiple runways and fashion show the biggest shows I’ve walked for was LAFW, B.e.t fashion week, Angel brinks fashion show witch aired on Vh1. Sell swag fashion show also aired on Vh1 love and hip hop. Also on Telemundo.
The most recent TV show I have appeared on was MTV game of clones with Kail Lowry… I am also now one of Hollywood’s Newest and fastest-growing promoter in LA working at ballet Hollywood, The argyle, Playhouse, Hyde, boosty bellows.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s been far from a smooth road coming all the way from the east coast to the west coast not having friends or family at first just hopes and dreams it was a struggle first finding where to stay and who to stay with because you can trust everyone all company ain’t good company and also people are intimidated by someone on the grind so they look to find ways to bring u down or hold u in one spot.
Please tell us more about your work. What do you do? What do you specialize in? What sets you apart from competition?
I am actor/model/event planner I specialize in organizing party’s such as birthdays graduations and welcome home or going a ways also and model training teaching how to have confidence on the runway. What sets me apart is that I take time in what I do and the people I interact with making sure I am satisfying there needs.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
My proudest moment in my career was winning MTV FEAR factor the first three months of me moving To LA some people have never been on TV let alone win.
