Today we’d like to introduce you to Lil 6at.
Lil, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started doing music as a child. Growing up without parents, it’ll help me escape by listening to music and creating small raps in my head but nothing serious. I always knew music is what I wanted to do since a child. I grew up in a rough environment and right after high school, decided to join the Army for six years. Halfway through my contract, I picked Back up with doing music and in 2017, I started doing collabs with SoundCloud rappers who were kind of known surrounding myself with them building my brand. 2018 I deployed in the army until March 2019 and I was done with the army and going harder than ever with my music. I have a hit single with an artist named Lil House Phone “From the Back” that’s doing very well. I do this for my mom who’s watching over me!
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
