Meet Liese Victoria of Bella Blank Productions in Marina Del Rey

Today we’d like to introduce you to Liese Victoria.

Liese, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I have always been drawn to the world of fashion. In fall of 2013, I decided to go back to school to study my passion. While a student, I interned for renowned designer Zandra Rhodes. From there, I went on to work as a visual merchandiser, fashion marketer, and design assistant. This led me to contract work where I’ve been able to produce fashion shows for local businesses and style editorial photoshoots for magazines. Flash forward to 2019, I completed my master’s of science in apparel merchandising and product development. In addition to working as a freelance stylist, I am also building a career in education. I teach fashion and related technologies at San Diego Mesa College and am pursuing teaching opportunities in LA.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I have balanced multiple jobs with full-time studies for the past six years while I worked towards my master’s degree. It has not been easy but the challenges have made me stronger and better prepared for whatever life throws at me. I made a lot of sacrifices along the way but none I wasn’t willing to make to accomplish my goals.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Bella Blank Productions – what should we know?
I am proud to have grown my own freelance business working for myself as a stylist and creative director. This has opened up so many new doors to exciting opportunities and experiences. I specialize in project management, event coordinating, and editorial styling. I am best known for my avant-garde fashions and imaginative creations. Whether it is on the runway or in a magazine, I want to make an impression. I love creating and collaborating with industry professionals to produce work that showcases the merging of our talents. I feel this is what sets my work apart and is my signature style.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
There are lots of people who have had a hand in my success and I have been supported by so many great individuals over the years. Most notably my mentor, friend, and colleague, Meegan Feori, who is a fashion professor at San Diego Mesa College. Also my life partner, Mason, who is my rock and is always there with a word of encouragement. I have discovered what I love to do and have been able to get work doing what I love because of a great support system. Being able to collaborate with so many amazing industry professionals has led me to where I am today and continues to push me in new directions as I pursue new goals.
