Meet Liana Herrera of AisleMemories in Santa Clarita

Today we’d like to introduce you to Liana Herrera.

Liana, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I am very passionate about everything related to weddings; so after getting engaged in December 2015, I planned our wedding from start to finish without hiring a wedding planner. We got married in March 2017 and it was the most beautiful and best day of our lives. We recently celebrated our one year wedding anniversary. I featured our wedding as an inspiration to others on my blog for our one anniversary.

When I met my husband, I was working for a big company for 6 years; however, 3 months after our wedding, I was laid off because the company moved the office from CA to IL and although the company asked me to relocate with them, I chose not to leave sunny CA. Hence, after getting laid off, my husband and I decided it was a good time to start our own business and that’s how AisleMemories was born due to my experience in planning our wedding as well as learning a lot about wedding trends, and continuing to learn about weddings.
I started AisleMemories blog about weddings and beyond because I want to share informative and inspirational posts with engaged couples and married couples as well. In addition, I now offer wedding services such as wedding planning and wedding coordination. AisleMemories website launched in January 2018.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I have started recently and it has been a smooth road.

AisleMemories – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
AisleMemories is a wedding blog with inspiration and information for couples currently planning as well as couples who already tied the knot. In addition, AisleMemories offers wedding services such as wedding planning and wedding coordination.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
After working for other companies for 15 years, I am proud that I have been able to start my own business that I love and enjoy doing.
