Meet Leah Woods of Puddingtingz in Carson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Leah Woods.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Since a kid, I’ve always had a passion for cooking and an open spot in my belly for dessert at any hour of the day. At the age of 15, I moved to Switzerland and fell completely in love with the Swiss and European culture, and I slowly adapted to their lifestyle. Swiss desserts are very light and tasteful. I became intrigued with exotic fruit custards and mousses. That’s what gave me the idea to make a pudding mixture that’s light and fluffy like mousse yet rich and creamy like ice cream.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I started my business on November 1st, 2018, and so far thanks to God it has been a very smooth road. However, I am prepared for whatever struggles that may come my way. I will not get discouraged in no way.

Puddingtingz – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Puddingtingz offers seven traditional flavors of delightful and rich gourmet Pudding. All of my puddings are homemade by myself and from my very own recipes. I have a list of flavors that I infuse my puddings with that range from fresh fruits like strawberries and bananas to homemade caramel sauces and cakes. Every jar or tub or blousing is layered with some sort of cookie and pudding mixture.

I am most proud of my creative ideas and creations that I’ve come up with. My best seller is the Original Banana Pudding and the Strawberry Banana Pudding. What’s sets me apart from others is the fact that my puddings are magical and taste nothing like pudding you’ve tried before. The most important thing is that they are made with love.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
I sell out every time I make a batch! And I haven’t received a bad review thus far.
