Meet Latasha Bailey of Successher Womens Business Network & Directory

Today we’d like to introduce you to Latasha Bailey.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Latasha. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Successher started January 2, 2017, from a dream that I had. I went searching for a women’s business network that I could connect with and grow my coaching business. Every group that I found the rates were extremely expensive and the community didn’t offer quite what I was looking for. I remember going to sleep, praying that I would find this business network that I could be a part of. While sleeping, I dreamt of a Women’s Business Directory that would showcase women-based businesses worldwide and give women a platform to market, connect, and network with other women in business both in-person and virtually. Every detail of the company was in my dream. The name, the mission, the color of the website, the logo, the content, etc. Shortly after that, Successher was created!! I went through all of the stages in business that you could imagine, writing all of my business details, filing the paperwork, creating the website and social media pages, opening up chapters in two new states getting super excited, getting burnt out; everything that you could think of, I experienced in that first year, but Successher was born, and I was excited.

I changed Successher several times from the original dream, and my advice to any business owner “DONT DO IT” Keep your vision and work on growing it. I took down the Facebook community of over 3k members; I changed the Instagram page over and over again; I changed the website over and over again and moved so far away from my original plan that Successher was unrecognizable to me. Within that first year, trial and error kicked in, and I found myself at the beginning of year two, still struggling to get the business where I wanted it to be. After reverting to my original plan In April of 2018, I picked Successher up and started again with the original idea; it’s been much better since then. Successher has grown and now has a wives, legalization, and biblical community. We are currently finishing up season one of the podcasts and working on Successher Women in Business Magazine. We have a mixture of over 4k members via social media and successher’s network. In the future, the successher team is working on in-person and virtual events and our online shop.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Creating and developing Successher has had its challenges. I went from offering a very low rate to join the network to giving business listings away for free to build the directory. I created a membership package and housed courses, masterclasses, and eBooks based on member’s suggestions all for them to leave the directory once their free trial was over. I think the most significant obstacle was myself. I allowed myself to lose my vision and goals for the business, so when others started to notice and decide not to be a part of it or leave, I took that as me failing my business, and I needed to make significant changes. Most importantly, I couldn’t blame them.

Successher Womens Business Network & Directory – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Successher is a women’s business directory & network. Our primary focus is to showcase women’s owner businesses worldwide and allow members the opportunity to connect and network with other women in business. Successher offers everything that you would need in your business. We have a wife’s community that focuses on supporting wives in their marriages. We have a Legalization/business community that teaches members how to file their own LLCs, business licenses, and paperwork as well as start business credit profiles. We have a biblical community that focuses on biblical teachings and principles from the bible. We are introducing our first season of InspireHERd, which is a business podcast that allows women to talk about all things business. We are working on Successher Women in Business Magazine, which showcases every member of the Successher community as well as their products and services.

We have a Facebook members-only community where we give tips and resources in business, and the members connect about new up and coming events that they have as well as connect in business. We are building a business shop where members will shop discounted items and business products. We are developing our venture capital board for members, which allows them to present their business plan for funding to start their businesses. Lastly, we are also working on our in-person and virtual events. Successher will continue to grow. What sets up apart from every other company is that we are not in business simply for the money; we are in business to see each other succeed, build lasting connections, and grow each other’s businesses as well as our own. I am most proud that there is a women business directory and network that I can identify with, and that works with business owners exactly where they are in business.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
I am looking forward to growing Successher and potentially getting our very own Location. My big goal is for Successher to be in every state as a resource and shared space for women to conduct business. Self-Growth is always important. I love developing and using my innovative mind. Women in Business Yoga, Fitness, Self-Growth are all in my future plans.
